It certainly wouldn't hurt to rest. But, if you have to get up and move around, then do so, it is just going to be painful. Try using an anti-inflammatory, like ibuprofen or Advil. I sprained mine bad one time, but I had to go to work - at a zoo - which required lots of walking. I just limped for about a week and then it had twinges every now and then. It finally healed completely after several weeks but now the ankle has a different look from my other one. But no pain ever. I am not a doctor though.

Girls High school soccer??? Am I going Overboard?

When to go back to the eye doctor.?

I have recently noticed I can't see as clearly as I feel like I should be. I already wear contacts and I got a new prescription in May. I had been thinking I couldn't see as clearly as I had been so I did two of those online eye tests and one told me I was at 20/50 and the other I couldn't read the 20/20 line. Should I go back and have my eyes checked again? It seems odd that they would change this suddenly especially since I am 21 and my eyes should be stabilizing. i got caught for dui in alabama my florida license was suspended already at the time i got arrested but I lack a month to get them reinstated which i did then I went to Alabama and got a Alabama driver license because during this time i was and am living in Alabama Well my dui i got convicted for the law in Alabama state 90days suspension 1st offense. Well for some reason after the conviction my dui got sent to Florida for a 1yr suspension how is this possible I wasn't holding a florida driver license at the time of the conviction nor did i have a license also How is it possible that I called to see about suspension in Alabama and they say I have no dui and my license is valid but in Florida they say I am suspended is there any way to fix this? The 5 and 3 year old scream continually. I don't have problems with kids that play nicely, but these just bicker or scream in high-pitched voices or fight with one another. Obviously involving the council or police is not going to work. ("because they are only being children") Other neighbours next to us have also small children of similar age, but are well behaved and I never hear them. I don't want to confront the neighbours because I anticipate the same answer as one would get from the council or police. To them, they are their precious little darlings. Yes as long as you dont get the 4 cylinder version, those engines are prone to all kinds of problems, personally i had one and it ran fine, but the owner before me had to replace the engine at 80,000 miles, and thats not much, so the new engine probly had around 100,000 when i got rid of it, but alot of mechanics have told me that if im gettin a Grand Am before 1998 dont get the 4 cylinders

New to slrs. What lens do I ?get?

I am learning photography, and I just bought the canon t1i with 18-55mm lens and the 55-250mm lens. I like to take close ups, flowers, insects etc. The closer the better. I like the small details. What macro lens would one recommend for a beginner? Also I like to take landscape, wildlife, etc. The 55-250mm still doesn't get me as close to the critters as I would like. I live in Alaska so the terrain can be difficult, it can be hard to get close to a moose for example.What would one recommend for this type of shooting. I think there's several reasons. One is that people can have some level of remaining anomymous, and behind the computer screen it feels like they can safely say what they please. Another reason is that Y!A does damage control with the deletion of many questions and answers, and it makes some people feel as if that's a clean slate for them to do it again. And if someone's account is suspended, they can just come back with a new one and start over.

Hey Brendan..sounds like your up around the Angelina /lufkin area...Well its hard to explain the Trade offs here but if your even close to flood plane pier is the answer..If your in a 100year plane its a break even and 500 year you might want to use a slab. Pointers on the slab. In the areas up to and including the Lufkin area they are in a type of ground that expands about 20% from the dry time.Its the black gumbo looking with white and shell aggregates. To get your slab in and keep it from cracking your need to really watch the capture of the slab and the ratio of deflection .If your not careful a long skinny slab will crack badly when the ground moisture heaves and the water will hydraulic the whole thing down the hill...so even in a dry spot drainage is paramount..12-18" of crushed material for base...and french drains...Now if your above the black soil line your into the red iron ore which is even worse...so here is what you got ..drilled pier bases with your house off the ground,standard slab,super waffle shaped capture slab, and drilled pier under a concrete slab.. Of all of them the regular slab is the cheapest at about 5-7 bucks a foot and is the fastest..If the water comes up in your dining room though through the floor don't be surprised..super slab will stay where you put it and is somewhat a floater(plastic). the other two are pier types which serve two great uses they auto get you out of the water (relative) and of the two the best is concrete with wood connected to the floor joists. Using hurricane clips like 18ga over every joist connection and along the top l=plate and the floor plate is even better . ONE last thing if it moves a little it might still be there if it's to rigid it will be gone. Lufkin gets about 60mph to 70mph from a direct hit. I am 8 weeks pregnant, and I watch 2 little girls for $125 a week. Sometimes it is 6-4, others it is whenever their piece of crap mom shows up. Buying any new bearigns would fix this. Bones are the best brand and I recomend them always just because I've used them forever and they work better than any other brand i've used. There is no fixing the smashed one up you could fix it from being wet by taking them out and cleaning them and then relubing them. I lube my bearings at least once a week more if I skate everyday. Don't ever use wd-40 on bearings it leaves behind a residue that collect dust and dirt making your bearings even more crappy. If you buy some beaings get some lube for them also. Bones red and some lube would cost about $25 total at a skateshop and the lube will last years. If not then buy lube later bones bearings are about $15-20 online and at skateshops.

Parents, can you feel my frustration?

My children have been attending this charter school in Philadelphia for the past three years. I had minor problem with talking but that's it. Now this year my son is in the third grade and has had three different teachers since August when school started. My daughter is in the sixth grade and this is the time she has had a man as a teacher. I work full time at an EHS center in Philadelphia. My kids are not bad kids when I am pulling my hair out every night. So I don't want my kids to be pinned as the "problem kids" like some of the other kids in the school. My kids are not perfect either but I know my kids. My son's math teacher sent home a communication note which goes into his file once I sign it. I know because I am an infant and toddler teacher. Any how I want to know what my son did in her cl for her top have to instruct him to pay attention. Like I said I know he was probably doing something else but not disrupting to entire clroom at her instruction time. But can anyone feel my frustration? I am very involved in my kids education. I work hard to keep us afloat. But for me to have to go back and forth to get an answer or to be told I need to get my daughter under control is what is really upsetting me. so since i sarted my new job last year in June I have been dealing with alot of stresses at work along with the ping of my father in 2005. I have been noticing increased irritability, excess worry, restless sleep, muscle tension in my back, headaches, sweating, no concentration, nausea, frequent bathroom breaks, tiredness, trouble staying asleep and being startled easily. My doctor seems to think I am bipolar with anxiety but when I looked up the syptoms of a bipolar I only got 3 of the 13 symptoms. I feel I have been misdiagnosed and that because I have had depression in the past they are just uming I am now bipolar. I am 25 now but when i was 15 I had a drug addiction that I told my Dr about. Its my feeling that she doesnt want to prescribe me anxiety pills because she feels I will become addicted to them. I may just be paranoid here, but I'm severly confused about my talk with the Dr. Should I get a second opinion? This anxiety is effecting my work and life.please help

Im worried i have endometritis. i know its genetic and my mum suffered from it. although she had two kids she has had a hysterectomy. He claims that he can't do anything for her, because of her weight. Her weight gain of the past year is primarily do to the fact she is taking Lithium and Wellbrutren and Zoloft for her Bi-Polar and PTSD and depression. Despite her efforts of watching what she eats and exercise, she is unable to maintain or lose weight. All she continues to do is gain weight. Now she has her period all the time and her flow is heavy always. Making it even tougher for her to do any exercise at all and to lose weight. Couldn't she get a tubal done or something that wouldn't be as evasive as having a hysterectomy? Sincere answers only please. She had blood work done and she is not anemic.

Need some help with a job decision?

Well I have a small problem with multiple jobs that I want. The two main things I want to be are a lawyer and an architect. I was thinking about being both, but then I would spend almost a decade in college (maybe more) and then have little time for social life (balancing both jobs would be hard enough, but I do like keeping busy). I was thinking of an archaeologist/historian, but other than my love love of history and geography, there is no reason I want those jobs. I found a medium size strawberry plant in a pot near the trash, ready to be thrown out. When I saw that half was still living I took it home it hopes to save it. I am 5'4 152 lbs 24 American girl. I have tried a fasting diet before it was a lemonade diet where you squeezed lemon in 8 ounces water 1 tsp cayenne pepper and 1 tbsp of honey lost like 5 pounds in 3 days was only water weight though gained it back as soon as i started eating normally again. Recently I have started doing a cereal diet I eat 1 bowl of cereal for breakfast, 1 bowl of cereal for lunch then a regular dinner but smaller portions than i Usually ate before. I have only been drinking water cut out all other beverages. started this Monday November 9 I weighed 157.7 now today Saturday November 14 I weigh 152 I have lost 5.7 pounds in last 6 days now this is all water weight I'm uming not actual fat yet but its still weight to me and i am very excited. I also have been exercising not too much trying to start out slow get my body use to the ideal I have been doing crunches, sit ups and leg lefts, walking the stairs in my house when ever i have a few minutes I will do this don't plan it so that way I can do it on my time have found that if I try to make it mandatory for myself i am less likely to want to do it but making it optional and convenient makes me want to exercise more. The cereal I have been eating is honey bunches of oats. tried special k but taste was to bland. I also don't eat anything after 7 pm. If you get hungry after you have eaten My doctor told me to drink water at least 8 gles a day 8 ounces each one keeping hydrated makes you less hungry she said and I've noticed this is very true. How can I get rid of coyotes?

I live in Minnesota and I am pretty sure we are having a big coyote problem around my area. I live in the central/southwest area of MN. My dad was on his way to work in the early morning and he saw a big dog chasing a coyote down the gravel road and my brother was on his 4-wheeler at about sundown and he said he saw a couple walking in the woods. The woods are about 20 feet from our fenceline. My parents say they hear my horses sometimes stomping their hooves, but I have never seen or heard these coyotes. Sometimes, though, my dogs wake up in the middle of the night barking hysterically. My dogs are inside so don't be alarmed!I heard that coyotoes won't go inside buildings and that they are afraid of light and noises or something like that. I have a polebarn and one end of it is always open, sometimes i slide the door shut a little bit when it storms and stuff. Are my horses safe? It is summer time, so it's not like these coyotes are starving, we have pheasants everywhere ..

Do you think cable news makes people dumber? Why or why not?

I tend to believe channels like Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, and the like are destroying any sense of civil, intelligent political discourse in this country. I mean I believe it's important that the American people have easy access to up to date information but I wonder if cable news is worth the trouble it wreaks. News these days is just generally irresponsible. My complaint isn't that the news is too biased. In fact, in most cases I would argue that it isn't biased enough. Or at least in the sense that journalists don't discriminate anymore. The job of a journalist is not simply to deliver information to people. It's about discerning what is and isn't important for people to know. Today cable news channels ume they have to represent every idea no matter how discredited out of some misguided need to be perceived as "Fair and Balanced". Journalism can be fair with out giving credence to all views. They care far too much what we think and not nearly enough what qualified experts think. Its just a bunch of hacks spouting bull$hit and asking us what we think. What do you guys think. Do you ever watch the news and just want to bury your face in your palm?

Question about authentic Japanese cooking?

I like to cook japanese cuisine, but I am a vegan, so I can't use aquatic animal based ingredients to make my soup stock. Which has left me with kombu (seaweed) as my main soup stock ingredient. This question is for Japanese people. If I use onion soup stock in my japanese recipes, does that make them not authentic? I personally like onion soup stock better than kombu soup stock.

My friend broke my finger bone in air hockey and should he pay the hospital bill?

I was playing air hockey with a friend. I had beaten him three times and had asked him to play one more game. He had got so frustrated and was really smacking the air hockey puck at a full force. It had looked like it went 100 MPH. The puck had nearly hit my head three times and then the puck had hit my middle finger. My hand was inside the holding stick. the puck managed to go up in the air and hit my middle finger. I had went to the emergency room and the doctor took x ray on it. Said the bone appears to be broken. My insurance has paid for the hospital bills. I might get the spendown payment on it. The question is that is my friend supposed to pay the hospital bill instead of me since he broke my middle finger bone during air hockey due to unsportsmanlike conduct? Thank you!

How often should i water my cactus?

it is quite small, about 20 cm high, i keep it on my window sill in the sun but i think im under-watering it as it often goes a dull greeny/brown Colour. I'm 23 years of age and married. I've never had an with another person be it male or female. I have s with only a oral stimulator. feels good only for a 5 minute period. What does this dream mean?

I have many strange dreams, but some stick out more than others. Last night I had this really strange dream that I gave birth to three baby tyrannosaurus rexes with wings. I gave birth under water too. I named the first one (a girl) after myself, a little narcissistic, I know. I named the second one (a boy) after my dad. And the third one (a runt) I named Pogo. The first one was pink. The second one was brown, and the third one was blue with green wings. They also had their names etched into their behinds like My Little Ponys from the 80s. I fed them vegetables so they wouldn't eat people. What does this mean or does it simply mean that I'm crazy and have weird dreams? Haha.

What would you do if you realize that your life got ruined because of one stupid decision?

i dont hate my parents,but today i am at a stage that everything is ruined,and when i think about it,that why did all this happen,why did i always made the wrong decision of choosing the easier path ,why did i ruined my precious time at college,then i inevitably realize the most painful truth,that it was because them.they never helped me with my education,they never allowed me go outside the home expt for school.every decision of my life was taken by them,i just followed orders.i was cut to the outside world for almost 3 years.it was like my knowledge and my mental growth in comparison to guys of my age completely stopped.i wont put much details.but i just dont know what to do.they didnt let me develop interest in anything .i am 22 ,but i still dont know what is the purpose of this ******* life.my cousins familys are not financially strong,but they had a good family atmosphere,and that is why i think they are doing good,and succeeding,i believe in god, and destiny.but i dont wanna b someone who ends up working in some field i dont like .i chose to join an animation college 3 yrs ago,cos i liked movies a lot,they kind of became my world in those darkest 3 yrs of my life.so i thot that i would like to be in animation industry and so i started,but then when i came to delhi, then a sudden fear of people started scaring me,i lived alone for almost all mylife. so jst to mingle up wid people i indulged into smokin and drinking,it helped me in talking and connecting wid people.aft drinking i wud become someone who cud entertain almost anyone.but in d process of trying to connect to people i forgot the reason i came to delhi.so i ended up destroying my liver ,kidney and my life.i had to drop out of the college.and now i have realized what i wanted to do and how.i want to learn drawing,painting ,illustration and animation.but now my parents wont let me join a college,instead they simply want me to start working,so that they can tell the society that there son is doing well so that they dont have to face shame.they dont shout at me or try hurting me,because they know that what i am now,is because of them.they know this,and so they dont put much pressure on me.that is why i dont hate them because atleast they accepted that it was there fault because of which my life ended up like this.i dont hate them,but when i think about my career,the thought that my parents decision of not stopping to fight and specially not keeping me out of it,makes me angry.i m nt a bad lukin guy,but still no gal in life,ofcorse becos of my unique personality.being alone ,and not having a talent tortures me so much.its been more than 5 mnths that i last touched alcohol or touched a cigret,but i still dont see my life improving. .i dont even know why i am asking fr a solution for such problem,most of u will think m a pathetic unlucky guy,i dont care for that much,may be i jst wanted to let it out.

Do what you have to do girl. I have had this problem with no resolution so I made them outdoor/indoor kitties now. My fiance and I had a room about 10x10 in the back of our house. It has a door with a viewing window from inside the house and also access to outside as well. We call it "The kitty coop!" It seems to work out for them, but I also live in the country and don't have to worry about cars. So, if I were you... don't put him in a cage, but maybe in the bathroom. That way if he decides to pee everywhere... at least you can clean it up. Put a litter box, food, water, a soft place to sleep, and maybe a toy or two for him. As, for your other kitty, poor old girl.

No, from what I read it was a society who began the idea of sending slaves back to Africa. The American government itself did not colonize Liberia or directly had part in its creation except giving them that land. It was the black slaves who set their government based on our government to form their new country. So it wasn't our responsibility to help them keep it. But it is interesting history about Liberia. It does make sense that freed African slaves would want to go back to where their ancestors came from.

Agree. Most of today's handheld games have gotten way too complicated, and that takes the fun away from the game. Handhelds are supposed to be quick pick-up games. Games that you can play for 10 minutes, leave, and then play it at a later date without missing a beat, but now, you have to spend hours at a time playing a game. And if you don't play for several months, you forget what you're supposed to do.

I woud leave the bottom half of your walls white and paint the uppser half a soft sand color. On the shelf wall, go a shade darker and paint just the wall inside the shelf ( does that make sense? the back wall part of the shelf area ) so that you have contrast between the white shelves and the walls. Add some bamboo blinds and you've got a nice beachy room. The bedspread will pop against the neutral sandy background. Great bedding!
