My friend broke my finger bone in air hockey and should he pay the hospital bill?

I was playing air hockey with a friend. I had beaten him three times and had asked him to play one more game. He had got so frustrated and was really smacking the air hockey puck at a full force. It had looked like it went 100 MPH. The puck had nearly hit my head three times and then the puck had hit my middle finger. My hand was inside the holding stick. the puck managed to go up in the air and hit my middle finger. I had went to the emergency room and the doctor took x ray on it. Said the bone appears to be broken. My insurance has paid for the hospital bills. I might get the spendown payment on it. The question is that is my friend supposed to pay the hospital bill instead of me since he broke my middle finger bone during air hockey due to unsportsmanlike conduct? Thank you!
