Italian men, tell me the truth?

One of my friends wanted me to meet one of his best friends..i trusted my friend and i gave my number to give to his friend and we talked, actually for hours..we met, we clicked, everything was really perfect. He was so attentive to everything that i did, it was amazing..he was so sweet and fun and constantly calling and texing and when we were together we couldnt keep our hands off each other..its been about 2 months...then out of the blue, after one of our hourly conversations, always included a good laugh and fliratious talk, he tells me he has something to tell me but didnt know how...it was one of those "im not ready to be in a relationship" lines yet he felt horrible about it and even cried...i was completely caught off guard, cause i didnt see any sign.. so heres my thing..this guy is 100% italian and ironically enough his parents (who have been in italy for the past 2 months) are coming home this week.. im not italian..could it be a complete coincidence that this happened now?
