How to upload binary mode via FTP?
I do not use the same FTP client as you do. However, somewhere, in the options or preferences, where ever, you have a place to set the "default mode" for uploading files, and there is where you set (A)scii or (B)inary as the method to use as the default. In the upload dialog somewhere, you should also have the ability to select the mode to use, which if you do not, uses the default set in the preferences or options for the program. The difference betweenn Ascii and Binary mode is whether the file is interpreted as 7 bit or 8 bit characters. If a file is an 8 bit file, then any character in the file with an 8th bit set to 1 get changed to the 8th bit being a 0 which changes what that character means and does later. The option is in there somewhere. RTFM...
