Does this stuff work?

I just purchased a bottle of nutrafin turtle clean biological turtle habitat cleaner that is suppose to clean turtle aquatic habitat and gravel, reduce and control oders, and rapidly reduce organic waste. so I wanna know if this was worth getting for my red eared sliders tank or did i just waste 12 bucks thanks!!
